Аннотация

This article analyzes the theoretical and methodological aspects of the convergence of development levels of regions in the framework of the integration process in the EU between 1995 and 2011. It outlines the concept of convergence in the application of these processes, the main types of convergence and evaluation methods, and provides a review of empirical studies of these processes in the EU.
