Sociology of Critical Areas // Open Journal of Social Science Research, 2014, 2(3), p. 112-118. Авторы:Яницкий О.Н.АннотацияThe mushrooming of local ethnic and armed conflicts, economic and political crisis, the growing mobility of productive forces, natural and man-made disasters across the world, and the new stage of re-division of the planet’s space produce and multiply ‘critical zones’ placing human settlements and urban areas between life and death. Drawing on data collected worldwide in 2012-14 (desk review of documents, news and investigation reports, and in-depth interviews with 30 insiders), the article substantiates the concept of critical areas, analyses their major archetypes with a focus on the causes of their emergence, typical characteristics of every given state, its similar patterns and possible ways out. Taking these trends and data together, the author came to the conclusion that the permanent emergence and multiplication of ‘critical zones’ became today the social norm of a modern ‘turbulent society’ or, to be more exact, of a nall-embracing global risk society.Ключевые слова: critical zones and their devolution globalization reconsidered information risk society re-division of the planet risk-solidarities Рубрики: Социология риска и катастрофЭкосоциологияВозможно, вам будут интересны другие публикации:Yanitsky Oleg N.
