Аннотация

Leonty Byzov gave a detailed description of what is known as new Russian conservatism last year. The period since has brought nothing fundamentally new, albeit adding certain important touches to the understanding of how the main countrywide transformation processes are developing and will continue to develop against the background of a persisting post-Crimea syndrome and growing socioeconomic crisis. The conservative trend itself, though not changing its direction, has reached-or at least approached-the limit where some absolutely objective factors have come into play to hamper its evolution. The political pendulum rests frozen in an extreme position, with the politically excited public responding by going back to habitual cares that are far removed from the ideas of the Russian World, spiritual bonds, and traditions.
